RELAUNCH side table by Full Room

The RELAUNCH side table revisits a familiar modern design archetype: a cubic volume punctured by circular openings. While often associated with Joe Colombo, this form appeared in numerous variations throughout the late 1960s and 1970s, reproduced and reinterpreted so widely that its authorship gradually shifted from individual to collective.

This re-design by Full Room approaches the archetype through reduction and material clarity. The table is constructed entirely from aluminum sheet, replacing the traditional assembly of mixed materials with a monomaterial, fully recyclable structure. It is produced locally in Quebec using Canadian aluminum and finished with a high-gloss powder coat, recalling the visual softness of Space Age plastics while retaining the durability of metal.
