Description
Additional information
A rare sight on the vintage second-hand market, the innovative “Jetstar” rocking chair was designed in 1975 by the french designer Roger Lecal. The chair is made up of a sheet of off-white fabric held in tension by an ingenious chromed steel structure comprised of two interlocking circles. The chair can be used as a rocking chair or a standard lounge chair with the use of two steel add-ons that prevent the structure for swaying. The chair can be fully disassembled to be shipped as a flatpack.
In good vintage condition, with minor localized surface corrosion spots on the chrome frame (see close-up pictures).
