An extremely rare occurence on the North American market, this enormous glass lamp was most likely manufactured in the late 1960s or early 1970s by the German lighting brand Peill & Putzler. Made entirely of blown-glass designed to mimic the velvety textures of Carrara marble, the lamp is part of the “Carrara| Arte Von Colore” collection. When illuminated, it takes on an entirely new presence—glowing like a luminous moon veiled by clouds.
In great vintage condition.
