INVERTED PYRAMID desk lamp in black

Intriguing and a touch mystical, this desk lamp is surely discreet about its origins. Despite amounts of research to identify the designer or the manufacturer behind it, we can only speculate at this point: most likely a Canadian design, from the 1980s, possibly by the Montreal manufacturer Sverige.  The investigation is still open.

In good vintage condition, with minor scuffing on the lampshade (see close-up picture).
