GIO desk lamp by Jacques Legendre for Clic

This little-known design is one of the best examples of Canadian postmodern lighting from the 1980s. The Gio desk lamp was part of a collection designed by Jacques Legendre for the defunct Montreal manufacturer Clic. Its surprising combination of materials blends into a minimalist form with beautiful details.

In good vintage condition with minimal wear consistent with age and use. A few paints chips on the end cap of the acrylic tube (see close-up picture). The lamp uses a warm white compact fluorescent bulb.
