Additional information
Throughout the 1970s, several designers explored the idea of the dumbbell-shaped lamp — among them John Mascheroni, François Dallegret, and Filippo Panseca. The legendary Italian designer Enzo Mari also offered his own distinctive interpretation. His approach was especially novel: integrating the dimming mechanism directly into the body of the lamp to create a seamless form. The light intensity is adjusted simply by rotating the textured ring integrated into the lamp’s central stem.
In good vintage condition, with minimal wear consistent with age and use.
