In 1969, Douglas Ball designed the Glo-Up lamp collection at a moment when design was charged with possibility—shaped by the lingering optimism of Expo ’67 and the expressive freedom of Pop Art.
Originally manufactured by Danesco in Montreal, the collection saw a short but impactful production run across Canada before quietly fading away.
This official reissue marks its return.
Produced in close collaboration with the designer, the collection is being reintroduced to honor its original intent. Materials and proportions have been carefully respected while offering a newly expanded color palette. The collection is fully made and assembled in Canada.
More than a revival, this is a continuation.
