Additional information
A true icon of Canadian design from the 1970s’, the K700 stool (aka “paperclip” stool) was originally designed in 1971 by Philip Salmon and Hugh Hamilton for the Toronto manufacturer Kinetics. This rare 24″ version without footrest seems to be one of those quality replicas so often made in Canada back then by competing artisanal fabricators.
In good vintage condition, wear consistent with age and use. One of the seats has a few linear marks on top and the end caps are slightly discolored (see close-up pictures).
