TRAPÈZE desk lamp by André Desrosiers for Sverige

Ask a child to draw a lamp on a piece of paper and there are good chances you will end up with a doodle resembling the Trapeze lamp. Designed by André Desrosiers in 1985 for the defunct Montreal-based manufacturer Sverige, this lamp embodies the formal qualities of an archetypal desk lamp, stripped of all overzealous details. A round base, a cylindric mast and a trapezoid shade make for a simple and timeless design.

Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
